You need to be careful in life
There are those that will be cruel
They may not start out to be
But they may not follow any rule.
When you let yourself care to much
You leave yourself open to these
Even though you give all that you can
There will be no way these to please.
Many times all that is left is to flee
Leave them to follow their own way
Nothing left of the the dreams shared
After all this there is nothing to say.
Wish them well in the path they follow
Pick up the remaining pieces of your heart
No matter how hard you want to look back
Keep walking and make a new start.
