Thoughtful Memory

Who knows why our thoughts go where they do
Is it the desire of the heart or of the mind
Memories often bring forth such vivid images
Tender yet erotic, passionate and yet kind.

I can recall your smile as if it was yesterday
The sparkle in your eyes as our feelings build
Licking lips and the room seems to get warm
Hearts beating with a fire not to be stilled.

So much being said without uttering a word
A connection making two feel they are one
Breathing changes and fingers start to roam
Eyes pleading, something needs to be done.

To make love to you just feels to be natural
Knowing within a look what each other needs
Touching, moving, letting nerves come alive
Following that passion where the mind leads.
