Into The Wind

Not everyone enjoys two-wheeled excitement
For me it is a chance to relax and just get away
Feeling wind passing by and sun warming my skin
Lost in my thoughts, not needing anything to say.

They say with age comes wisdom, what do they know
I may be older, but am I any wiser than I used to be
I still make mistakes that I made a few times before
Still feel the uncertainty of scars no one else can see.

I can navigate curves and not just imagine their feel
I can feel motion in my loins and feel alive once again
Power, excitement, moving fast, slow or to a stop
All under my control, stimulating my body and brain.

While my thinking never seems to stop for very long
A few hours of riding seems to alleviate some stress
But back to reality, back to all the questions life brings
To pursue wisdom, contentment and maybe happiness.
