Spinning Words

Close your eyes and listen,
Do words reach your thought,
Can you feel what it is I say,
Or are my efforts for naught.

It matters not how I say them,
For they come from my heart,
Alone I spin each words web,
Spinning words from the start.

They may disappear on the wind,
I don’t know how they may flow,
I just hope they will touch you,
Each time I let you know.

Like the delicate web of a spider,
What is caught I may not see,
But I know that if you touch it,
It may lead you back to me.
