This week is a work bank, using the words: Fog – Lampost – Veil – Tophat – Carriage. So here goes:

london fog

He strolled down the street slowly
Eyes alert to each shadowed doorway
At each lamppost he would look back
Searching for someone along the way.

The fog fell around him as if a veil
When he happened upon her she balked
He tipped his tophat and she smiled
To the waiting carriage they walked.

Seated beside her he slowly caressed
Her face, her arm, down to her leg
As he felt the shiver in response
He pulled away knowing she’d beg.

A collar he moved baring her neck
They both smiled, she was wary
He laughed as he pulled her close
And gave her a big wet raspberry.
