With A Yawn

Thoughts of you are so strong
I feel you as we share a touch
As I wake with a yawn
I realize that you are gone.

I stare at the ceiling and turn
Gazing out the window I reflect
As I stretch with a yawn
I watch the light of the dawn.

Memories so strong that I pause
Knowing all that could be
As I fight back a yawn
I realize I’m turned on.

So many words could’ve been said
Would it have changed our course
With watery eyes I yawn
And ponder should I move on.

My first visit to your site today and am quite taken with you stream (although meandering) of conciousness. May you never wake up from your dream!
