Make You Smile

make you smile

It is important to me
Being there to help you
Trying to give you a smile
Helping make it through.

Yet knowing another waits
Feelings get in the way
Being an empath is hard
Always too much to say.

So much feeling overwhelms
A heart too big to ignore
Always giving, never asking
Waiting by the open door.

When the smile is given away
To another without restraint
There comes a sad realization
It’s too late for a complaint.

Many are the difficult choices
We all face them once in a while
Take a step back and a deep breath
Get back your own reason to smile.

This reminds me of a sad yet happy smile that comes to my face. Sometimes it comes from the power in music, other times it comes from guilt, or comfort. But just letting that smile appear on your face can make all the more difference! šŸ™‚

So true a Smile is sometimes the best medicine, it is amazing how it can turn someone’s day around by just a smile. I love to see your smile.
