My Friends

If you come to my page for comfort
There may be some from time to time
But other days you may come across
Pain and frustration in the rhymes.

I leave my heart on my sleeve a lot
Yet I’ll not have it any other way
You’ll always get my true words
Whatever feelings I care to say.

I’ve shared a connection at times
Some light, a few so very strong
Over my life I’ve had a couple
I almost felt should be wrong.

To feel almost inside another
Inside their head and the heart
Waking as they catch a breath
Almost a curse from the start.

All I can ask is that you read
Understanding my passion or not
I cherish the words you leave
Showing you ponder my thought.
