What If

What if…
You were given ten thousand dollars
Would you waste it or spend it well
Maybe make your life a little better
Help someone else and just not tell.

What if…
You were given a decision to make
Affecting not you, another person
Would you give all that you could
Feeling joy, no envy for that one.

What if…
You found that someone special
Would you take moments to say
How much life means with them
Making sure together you’d stay.

What if…
You could live forever on the earth
After 1000 years would you be bored
Would you learn all that you could
Remembering to say Thank You Lord.

What if…
We forget to appreciate things now
Those around us whether close or not
If we can’t take the time now to share
The life we have might be for naught.

What if…the world stops spinning tomorrow
    would we still feel sorrow
What if….there were no more words to say
    would you speak them anyway
    What if…
    What if not…
    what if we forgot

a thinking thought-filled poem that will wander inside my mind tonight

    Love this πŸ™‚
I play the what if game often in my head.
It usually ends with me smiling mostly because I’m always plotting ways to make someone’s day a little more smiley. πŸ™‚

    I love to surprise people.

    Hope you’re well Poet!
