Photograph Memory

Sitting on the floor amidst the photos
Time captured in so many memories
Surrounded by family long since passed
Yet so alive with each photo he sees.

As a child held in arms and feeling loved
Holding fingers as first steps he is taught
Remembering bandages from spills he took
Even feeling support for the battles fought.

As a man, seeing the walks hand in hand
Knowing the joys of children being born
Growing, teaching, guiding and wishing well
Photos there too after a life was away torn.

To photos surrounded with children of all age
His own, then theirs and finally of even those
So many memories and still more yet to make
No regrets for the past, for that paths he chose.

each memory with no regret is indeed a Blessing
    a beautiful, thought-filled poem you have shared…
Thank you….gentle reminders of before and that there will be more
    I hope you had a wonderful day….
    Take Care…you Matter…
