Without A Touch

Close your eyes and think
Imagine a baby’s soft skin
Something you can imagine
Without a touch.

Look at a scene of a beach
The sun reflecting on the waves
You can almost feel the warmth
Without a touch.

Imagine looking into sparkling eyes
The face of a dear one you know
Does it make you smile a little
Without a touch.

Thoughts of lonely nights
Sitting quietly pondering
Do you reach for a hand
Without a touch.
