Slippery

The blanket is spread out
The sun warm on our skin
We brought extra towels
I can’t wait to slip in.

Massage in some oil
Just in case of need
Not good to get too red
So no reason for speed.

Hand in hand we go
Anticipation is building
Starting a gentle sweat
I grab hold of the railing.

That smooth feel on my skin
A rush as I start to glide
Wet but still feeling so hot
I splash off the water slide.

One Response to Slippery

  1. I love the not so subtle sensuality of your poems. Just when you think it is about an intimate experience BAM! Always a pleasure to read!
