Limerick Mood

I once went out for a walk
Thoughtful, not wanting to talk
I was given a scare
By what I saw there
Grandma! Don’t drive on the sidewalk.

There was an old man from Maine
From meeting others he’d refrain
He had hair of white
A face causing fright
Quiet, I’ll hit with my cane.

There once was a kitty with fleas
Always rubbing against my knees
I got tired of itching
So I it out walking
And it ended up in Chinese.

Oh come on, it rhymes… hehe
