Bring It On

We go about our day not knowing
If the breath we take is our last
We’ve become a society of runners
Not learning from mistakes past.

So many conveniences that we have
We used to travel as a family well
Now we are trapped and immobile
If we find we’ve forgotten our cell.

Why does it take a tragic event
To make us stop and wonder why
When it would have been easier
To simply look someone in the eye.

So I say bring on the feelings
Open up and let others understand
Humanity hasn’t been forever lost
Stop, take a breath, touch a hand.

Live life with no regrets. And do all you can in one day. Love always, bless your blessings, let no one take anything away.

Sometimes we need to just bring on the feelings – allow ourselves to be vulnerable in order to be healed. Enjoy
