Dare To Dream

Tender touch that feels so alive
The scent of your skin envelops me
As we kiss and begin to gently sway
The passion building is easy to see.

Hand in hand, down the hallway we walk
In a nest of satin and pillows we lay
Actions and desires of hearts joined
We know each other without a word to say.

The scent of candles fills the room
Along with the musky aroma of our lust
No longer giving thought to anything else
Satisfying each other seems to be a must.

The sound of chirping makes me halt mid-kiss
Light behind my closed eyelids seems to lurk
The sound of the telephone ringing once more
Stop snoozing at the desk, time to get to work.
