When Time Stops

I reach out and caress your cheek
The tenderness that makes my heart race
Letting my fingers surround you
I pull you close for that needed embrace.

To feel your lips oh so ready
The kiss that lights such a fire
Our bodies unite and the touch is there
That leaves no doubt as to the desire.

Clothing that is no longer needed
A rushing that seems to fill our ears
Bodies in motion and the passion that burns
Gives us all that is needed to ally the fears.

Each touch, each kiss, each taste of skin
There is nothing left to imagination
Each moment that feels like time has stopped
There is nothing to do but start again.
