Reach Out

Sit back and imagine your life
What have you done so far
What is important that we hold so dear
Is it your house, your money or your car?

There are so many things to be thankful for
We tend to ignore them it seems
It’s only when we have them taken away
That we realize the extent of our dreams.

The things we have or desire in life
Can only give us some of our need
If we don’t have someone to share them with
It can be like a cut that we just watch bleed.

Take life and never let it go
Don’t let the things you want pass you by
If you can’t reach out and take a chance
You’ll let life go without a try.

I have been working for 25 years. It’s only 2 years ago that i could finally have my own place, a big beautiful place to live in with my family. it’s only last year that i could get a “decent car”. The salary I was getting would make so many jealous, but I left everything with no regrets. The house, the money or the car are absolutely nothing when you’re not happy with the person you share your life with.
