Starting over

How many times have we started over
In many of the paths we will walk
Whether alone or shared with another
We may be quiet or with someone talk.

However we get to this point in life
We can’t just at the crossroad sit
Whether someone helps us decide
We need to pick which path will fit.

So with each turn we must make
We look ahead hoping for smiles
Not knowing if the path is short
Or will wander for many miles.

Starting over is not always easy
It is a journey most hope to share
But to make the most of the time
You must find someone that can care.

I’m sure there are many that can care, but not always the way we expect them to. I sent you an email, did you get it?

  2. Picking a path takes time. I was writing about making decisions and seeking advice. Some said it was easy to ask for help. Others preferred to seek quiet counsel with themselves. I took a long time to vaguely figure where I’m headed. Starting over is never easy.
