The Path We Follow – villanelle

There must be a reason our paths crossed
We aren’t always aware why it happens
Only time will tell if the paths merge.

As we go about our life we meet so many others
Some will never know that we both passed by
There must be a reason our paths crossed.

Then every once in a while someone comes along
And that moment seems to in catch your mind
Only time will tell if the paths merge.

For what ever reason you feel that connection
It is that feeling when two hands fit together
There must be a reason our paths crossed.

What makes that feeling something to desire
Once there is it something to hang on to
Only time will tell if the paths merge.

There will be others that cross our path
But will they come between what we both felt
There must be a reason our paths crossed
Only time will tell if the paths merge.

I really loved this one. There is always a reason why paths cross. Sometimes we only discover the reason when its too late. Some other times, we might wish it never happened, and sometimes we realize it was the best thing that could have ever happened to us.

I LOVE WHAT YOU WROTE NIKKY FOR THAT IS SO VERY TRUE; BUT CROSSING PATHS AND MEETING SOMEONE – THERE IS ALWAYS A REASON; SOME ARE THERE FOR A LITTLE WHILE SOME ARE FOREVER AND SOME JUST A SEASON.
