A sky clears to give a full view
Of the wondrous beauty above
No need to try to count them
Just appreciate God’s love.

There is so much destruction
Of the natural beauty given
We give so little thankfulness
As we look up to the heaven.

With all the stresses of the day
With each new strain we face
It is easy to think only within
And forget the human race.

No plea for which course is right
Only a reminder to see the stars
Whether alone or with a friend
The twinkling lights are ours.
