Once upon a time there was a goat
Gray was his beard and his fur coat
Too many days had passed they said
But be had another thought in his head.
Every day he would sit by the gate
Early as others checked, he wasn’t late
He never tried to get out at any time
He would just sit and act so sublime.
One day the gate didn’t get latched
A quick escape was quickly hatched
When the coast was cleared he moved
That he wasn’t too old he had proved.
Because of that he headed down a trail
He wanted some excitement, maybe tail
He knew a ranch just around the bend
A night raiding the pasture he would spend.
Because of that he strode quickly past the trees
There were the ladies waiting for him to please
However there seemed to be a bug in his mind
To just hit and run was not the way of his kind.
Until finally he saw a lone female by a tree
It made him wander over to see what was to be
She was older and more to his age and thought
It wasn’t long that with her, the others were forgot.
The end of this story is what needs to be found
Showing that mature ones with morals are around
While to get out and just have some fun is there
Just to spend time with a special one shows we care.
